Oswego, a town that people are proud to call home 

In the 1830's two men took over the land in Oswego that was owned by the Potowatomi, Ottawa, and Chippewa Tribes. After they took over the land, they started to sell off pieces of the land, soon after this a post office was built in Oswego and Once the automobile was invented the town of Oswego really started to see growth within their community. Community growth continued after three state highways Route 25, 71 and 31 were built through the town, this gave people easier access to Oswego, encouraging community growth. Even though Oswego is surrounded by cornfields, it has still managed to be an up and coming area, the town is experiencing the same rapid growth it saw in its earlier days in the mid-1800's. Oswego has a historic downtown area, a winery, a golf course, dinning and shopping for anyone looking to explore the town of Oswego.
