Great Service-All the Time
Early on in the 1800's when Naperville was first discovered it was called Naper's Settlement, founded by Joseph Naper. Up until the 1960's  Naperville was known as a quaint farming town, but soon after the 1960's Naperville's large and rapid increase in the population was due to the development of Interstate 355. The building of this major highway was the main reason Naperville had such great growth during this time. The interstate brought commercial developments, jobs, corporations and wealth to Naperville. Time has shown that the town has evolved into an affluent area. For fun residents can enjoy the arts, culture and nightlife of the downtown area as well as go shopping and experience the many dinning choices or they can enjoy the festivals and shows Naperville has to offer. The top employers in Naperville include Edward Hospital, Nicor and Alcatel-Lucent, each of them employing individuals in the thousands.
