Maple Park is a very small town that was founded in 1854. It has maintained the small town feel and rural lifestyle over the years, the town has a low population of roughly 1,300. Residents enjoy the rural setting that Maple Park offers, but are close enough to major highways and the railway service if they feel like enjoying the urban attractions that surrounding areas offer. Maple Park has plenty of corn fields to produce the local sweet corn that everyone loves.
